Terms and Conditions for Screening and Live Q&A Give-away

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. The "Screening and Live Q&A" ticket Give-away (the "Give-away") is sponsored by Fox Broadcasting Company, 10201 West Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90035 ("Sponsor"). Tickets for the "Screening and Live Q&A" Event (the "Event") will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis. You may RSVP to receive 2 tickets to the Event at WWW.IDOLRSVP.COM by selecting your desired screening city and entering in the requested information. Total number of tickets available vary for each screening location. Limit one (1) RSVP per person. Sponsor's database clock will be the timekeeper for purposes of this Give-away. If your RSVP is accepted for your selected screening city, you will be notified via the email account you provided.

The Give-away is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Washington, D.C., who are physically located and residing therein (excluding Guam, Puerto Rico and all other U.S. territories and possessions). Each participant must be at least thirteen (13) years of age at the time of entry. Each participant must be the rightful owner (or have authorized use) of the email account identified with the participant's entry. All Give-away and event details are at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor (A) shall not be responsible or liable for, and is hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Give-away or from participants' acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of the Give-away or Event and (B) has not made any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to the Give-away or the Event. Please note that seating at the event venues is not guaranteed. Sponsor may refuse entry to the Event in its sole discretion. Admission to the Event has no associated cash value and the Event may be cancelled or postponed without substitution or compensation. You agree that you will not record the Event.

If you are under the age of majority in your state of residence, a parent or legal guardian of the winner must accompany winner to the Event. If you are over the age of majority in his/her state of residence and bring a guest to the Event that is not of the age of majority in his/her state of residence, a parent or legal guardian of the guest must: (a) accompany the minor to the Event or (b) provide written permission for another adult age 21 or older to accompany the minor to the Event as a chaperone. Either option shall be at the sole expense of such guest's parent or legal guardian. All attendees must be at least 8 years old. All chaperones and chaperone arrangements are subject to Sponsor's approval.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION/RELEASES: By participating, you and your guest agree to release Sponsor, Fox Digital Media, News Corporation and all entities involved in the production, sponsorship and/or promotion of the Give-away, Event or Sponsor's programming, or any part thereof, including, without limitation, American Idol Productions, FremantleMedia North America, Inc., 19 TV Ltd., 19 Entertainment, CKX, Inc., 19 Merchandising, Ltd., and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, units and divisions and advertising and promotional agencies and prize suppliers, or any part thereof; each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees; and each of these companies and individuals' respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability for any and all claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of their participation in the Give-away or the Event.

DISPUTES: This Give-away is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without respect to any choice of law or conflict of law principles that would result in the application of any law other than that of California. As a condition of participating, you and your guest agree that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Give-away or the Event, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in California having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participants be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, including attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (e.g. costs associated with entering), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
